Alexandria

In August of 1990 my daughter Alexandria was born and something very special was added to my life and my photography. At the time, I made the resolution as to take at least one photograph of Alex every week. That resolution proved to be a little too ambitious; however, since her birth, Alex has been a favorite subject matter. Looking at my daughter every day since the day she was born has not only been a joy but an accounting of time. A time very accelerated from my own. The visual changes in Alex over the weeks, months and years were nothing short of amazing. My photographs of Alex are of a young girl as she journeys through the first sixteen years of her life.
